Methylic alcohol

Main applications :

• Cleaning and degreasing : Ideal for removing grease, oil and stubborn residues from a variety of surfaces.
• Thinner : Used to dilute certain varnishes, paints and inks.
• Chemical use : Used as a solvent in various industrial processes.

Instructions for use :

Cleaning or degreasing :
• Soak a clean cloth or sponge in methylated spirits.
• Apply to the surface concerned, rubbing lightly.
• Leave to dry in the open air.

Dilution :
• Add a small amount of methylated spirits to varnish, paint or ink, according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Mix well to obtain a homogeneous consistency.

Tool care :
• Rinse brushes, tools or equipment with methylated spirits after use to remove residues.

Precautions for use :

• Work in a well-ventilated area.
• Wear protective gloves, goggles and mask if necessary.
• Toxic : Do not ingest, inhale or come into direct contact with skin or eyes.
• Flammable : Keep away from flames, sparks or heat sources.
• Storage : Keep the product in its original container, tightly closed, out of the reach of children.

Warning : In the event of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with clean water.
If swallowed or inhaled excessively, contact a poison control centre or doctor.
