Tar remover

Frequency of use :

• Use the product regularly for optimum maintenance of your duct.

Application :

• Build a large fire to heat the appliance and obtain a good quantity of embers.
• Spread the embers all over the bottom of the appliance.
• Spread 4 doses of product over the embers.
• As the product burns, it gives off a thick smoke that reacts chemically with the tars, so it is best to apply the product to areas of the fireplace that need intensive treatment.
• Leave the product to work during combustion.

After treatment :

• Incrusted deposits will gradually be destroyed by catalysis.
• It is advisable to carry out mechanical sweeping to remove any remaining powdery residues.

Precautions for use :

• Use only on glowing embers, never on live flames.
• Keep the jar in a dry place, away from moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.

This product complements mechanical chimney sweeping, which is still compulsory once or twice a year under current regulations.
