Dye acrylic paints

Preparation :

• Shake the colourant bottle well before use to homogenise the product.
• Make sure the acrylic paint you wish to tint is clean, dry and ready to use.

Dosage :

• Pour a small quantity of acrylic paint into a separate container.
• Gradually add the concentrated colourant in small doses to avoid overloading the colour.

Mixing :

• Mix carefully with a spatula or blender until a uniform shade is obtained.
• Repeat the process, adjusting the amount of colourant until the desired shade is achieved.

Test :

• Apply a small amount of the tinted paint to a test surface to check how it looks when dry. Colours may lighten slightly as they dry.

Use :

• Once you are satisfied with the tint, apply the paint as intended to the desired surface.

Precautions :

• Observe the proportions to avoid diluting or saturating the paint too much.
• Only mix a quantity of paint that you will use quickly, as a custom shade can be difficult to reproduce.

Cleaning :

• Clean tools and spills immediately with clean water.

Note : This colourant is designed exclusively for acrylic paints. Do not use with solvent-based paints or other types of paint that are not compatible.
