Acetone

Preparation :

• Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling vapours.
• Wear resistant gloves and, if necessary, protective goggles.
• Keep away from sources of heat or flame, as acetone is highly flammable.

Application :

To clean surfaces :
• Pour a small amount of acetone onto a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Wipe the surface in even strokes.

To dissolve paint or residue :
• Apply directly to the affected area with a brush or cloth.
• Leave for a few seconds, then wipe dry.

To remove grease :
• Soak a cloth in acetone and wipe over greasy areas for fast, effective cleaning.

Finishing :
• Rinse the surface with clean water if necessary, especially for surfaces in contact with food.
• Allow to dry completely before continuing.

Precautions :

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and out of the reach of children.
• Do not use on sensitive plastic or painted surfaces without first testing a small, inconspicuous area.

Disposal :

• Dispose of used cloths in a metal container to avoid the risk of spontaneous combustion.
• Follow local instructions for disposing of used solvents.
