Toluene

Instructions :

• Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid the build-up of vapours.
• Wear protective gloves, a suitable mask and safety goggles to avoid any contact with the skin, eyes or respiratory tract.

Thinning paints/varnishes :
• Add toluene gradually to the product (paint, varnish, etc.), mixing carefully until the desired consistency is obtained.
• Do not exceed the quantity recommended by the manufacturer of the diluted product.

Cleaning tools and surfaces :
• Apply a small amount of toluene to a clean cloth or brush.
• Gently clean tools or surfaces.
• Wipe off any residue with a dry cloth.

Degreasing :
• Use toluene to remove traces of grease or oil from mechanical parts or other surfaces.
• Wipe off immediately after application to avoid residue build-up.

Finishing :
• Allow treated surfaces to dry completely.
• Close container tightly after use.

Precautions for use :

• Highly flammable product. Keep away from flames, sparks or heat sources.
• Do not inhale vapours. Work only in well-ventilated areas.
• Do not empty into drains or the environment.
• In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice if necessary.

Storage :

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
• Keep container tightly closed and out of reach of children and animals.
