Surface preparation :
• Make sure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or any other contaminants.
• For porous materials (plaster, bricks, etc.), we recommend applying a coat of slip (a mixture of fibre cement and water) using a brush to prevent excessive absorption of the binder.
Applying the adhesive :
• Cut off the end of the cartridge and screw on the applicator tip supplied.
• Insert the cartridge into a suitable extruder gun.
• Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be joined, either in a full layer with a notched trowel (indicative consumption: 1.5 to 2 kg/m²), or in dots (allow 5 dots per m²).
Assembly :
• Immediately after application, assemble the elements using sufficient pressure to ensure good contact and optimum adhesion.
Drying :
• Let dry for 48 hours at room temperature before use.
• Once completely dry, gradually expose the assembly to heat to avoid thermal shock.
Precautions for use :
• For interior use only.
• Clean tools and any fresh stains with water.
• Store the product away from frost, heat and humidity.
• Wear protective gloves when handling to avoid skin contact.
• In the event of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
By following these instructions, you will ensure effective, long-lasting application of Pyrofeu fire-resistant glue for fibers for your insulation and bonding work on fibrous materials subject to high temperatures.
