Flaxseed oil

Preparing the surface :

• Thoroughly clean the surface to be treated (wood, stone, terracotta) to remove dust, stains and dirt.
• If the wood has already been treated, sand lightly to help the oil penetrate.
• Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust.

Applying the oil :

• Shake the containerwell before use.
• Apply the oil with a clean cloth, brush or roller, following the grain of the wood.
• Let penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes.
• Wipe off excess oil with a clean cloth to avoid sticky areas.

Finishing :

• For best results, apply 2 to 3 coats, allowing 24 hours drying time between coats.
• Light sanding with fine paper between coats can improve the finish.

Regular maintenance :

• Reapply 1 or 2 times a year for exterior surfaces exposed to the elements.
• For indoor furniture, annual maintenance is sufficient.

Precautions for use :

• Soaked cloths may auto-ignite : after use, immerse in water before discarding.
• Store the product in a cool, dry place away from heat.
• Keep out of reach of children.
